The Club at Longivew {Crissy and Kyle} ~ Charlotte Wedding Photographer

Kyle is a man who knows what he wants. A strikingly handsome case analyst for the Garretson Resolution Group, he knows a treasure when he sees one. And he met the treasure of his life three years ago.
Mutual friends introduced Kyle to a graceful and elegant florist named Cristyn. Their friendship soon blossomed into romance.
For their first date, Kyle took Kristyn to play golf.
“I am terrible at golf, which made it a really fun first date,” Kristyn said, laughing.”
As the two grew closer, their were dates, evenings with friends, and a growing realization that Kyle and Cristyn were meant for each other.
Last year, Kyle took Cristyn back to the same golf course he had taken her for their first date. Cristyn suspected nothing out of the ordinary.
“On the sixth hole, he asked me to get a ball from his golf bag,” Cristyn said. “I unzipped the pouch on his golf bag, and found a small brown box. I awkwardly shut the pouch, not knowing if I was ‘supposed’ to find it,” said Cristyn, her self-restraint a testament to her graciousness and Southern manners.
“Kyle laughed, and told me to open it back up. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said ‘Yes!’
“Needless to say, we decided to skip the rest of the 12 holes.”
As Cristyn planned their wedding, she made sure Kyle’s deep love of music was reflected in the ceremony, the reception — even the guest “book.”
“The guest book was a guitar that belonged to Kyle’s father, who passed away nine years ago,” Cristyn said. All their family and friends signed it.
“The music made the wedding unique,” Kristyn said. “I tried to incorporate Kyle’s love of classic rock, lots of Beatles and Led Zeppelin. Our first dance was Led Zeppelin’s ‘Thank You.’ We had scrolls with the the lyrics at every place setting.”
The breathtaking ceremony and reception were held at Longview Country Club. The bride’s uncle, Pastor Alan Kass, officiated. While the day before the wedding had been windy and blustery, their bridal spring morning dawned with peace and beauty.
But although the Longview Country Club grounds are exquisite in full flower, the grandeur didn’t really register with Cristyn on her wedding day.
“The best thing about my wedding day was the moment I saw Kyle as I started down the aisle,” Cristyn said.
“It was like I had tunnel vision.”
After spending their wedding evening at The Ballantyne Resort, the couple spent an idyllic honeymoon in The Bahamas.
